Why can we solve it?
We take ships under our wing and welcome them into port. We try to make their stay as simple and comfortable as possible and accompany them until their departure. We take care of all their bureaucratic needs with the local authorities, and we look after their people, captains and crews alike.
We are the people who classify and declare goods, helping ensure they can leave the port and reach their final destination with the most efficient form of transportation, and vice versa.
It’s what we’ve been doing for over forty years now. We have tackled a variety of issues, ensuring we are always one step ahead. But above all else, we have helped solve many problems in the course of our professional journey.
We live beneath the large roof of the Finsea Group, which is our home. The Group has given us broad shoulders, making us feel part of a larger picture since 1979: a nationwide logistics company, an independent
group made of people, experience and passion, and one that knows how to reinvent itself. A group that is always on the lookout for new horizons, and a bold innovator that is passionate about its city, Genoa.
Through its shareholding in Spediporto (Genoa’s trade association for freight forwarders) Sat, in particular, worked alongside the IT company which developed the e-port computer system which, from 2008 onwards, revolutionised the way documents are handled in Genoa port. To this day it remains one of the industry’s strongest proponents for implementing the system.
The digitalisation processes have also led to it becoming involved in developing the Cargo project (now known as Aida) of the Customs Agency, for which we provided consultancy on dematerialising documents..
